Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with hip, knee, and other joint conditions requiring reconstructive or replacement surgery. This role involves providing exceptional surgical care, contributing to the advancement of orthopedic services, and ensuring positive outcomes for patients through evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform total joint replacement surgeries (hip, knee, and/or other major joints).
- Conduct patient evaluations, including diagnostic imaging and clinical assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, both surgical and non-surgical.
- Manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and rehabilitation plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and orthopedic research as applicable.

Requirements
Must be board certified or board eligible in orthopaedic surgery
Completion of orthopedic total joint fellowship is required
Must be experienced 3+ years
Average 750 joint cases
Florida licensed
